What a liberal bunch of baloney

@ 08:16 AM (19 months, 21 days ago)

Below are pasted in some liberal talking points written no doubt be a robot trained only in liberal talking points.  Let's see the liberals send Murtha to jail.  Clinton himself has been convicted for perjury.  Crooked politicians exist on both sides of the aisle.  The baloney below could have been written by Pelosi and probably the writer only copied and pasted what Pelosi said to.  Indepedent thought is a virtue and it is sad that the author what appears below lacks it.  The Kennedy's are convicted murders and serial boozers.  That's a fact.  The baloney below contains innuendos and falsehoods stated as fact.  The author is in fantasy land

Face it, liberals are a minority and always will be, cry all you want

Here is the liberal baloney in it's unadultered 'glory'

"Some people think the Democrats got elected because they promised investigations.

Other people think the Democrats got elected because they would start working on important issues such as minimum wage, fixing the Medicare drug program, stem cell research and other popular issues.

I say let them do both--just stop short of letting the extreme Lefties draw up impeachment articles. That would be such a waste of valuable time and money .. anyway, they might get a rude awakening if they bring them up for a vote.

The investigations will be the Republicans' own dang fault...payback for all that time they were in power and shoved oversight responsibilities under the rug...and shut the Democrats out of all decision-making.

Yep, the Democrats need to investigate alright.. to show the people how corrupt  Republicans really were/are.

But Democrats need to conduct these investigations with as much bipartisan support as they can muster, so it doesn't look like a partisan witch hunt. You know, like the ones the Republicans have done in the last 12 years.

A good place to start--Cheney's initial energy policy committee meetings. Was the invasion of Iraq discussed and planned at those secret meetings? (There's a law which requires the disclosure of non-federal advisors--the 1972 Federal Advisory Committee Act provides rules/regs that committees should operate "in the sunshine" and reports be open and available to the public.) Was Iraq invaded in order to award its oil fields to our national oil companies?

People want answers about the billions of dollars looted from the US Treasury by war profiteers...they want to find out where that money went. They could name the investigating committee after Harry Truman, who did the same during World War II. That was his claim to fame, and it got him elected Vice President and therefore President.

Follow the money. If the Republicans whine, it will look like they are trying to cover up theft from the taxpayers.

Indeed, we need a FULL accounting of money spent on Iraq reconstruction, of the use of contractors and privatization of the military. Especially no-bid contracts given to Halliburton, Titan, CACI, et al. They are costly and incestuous and helped create the chaos we now see in Iraq.

Signing statements! We need to test the constitutionality of presidential signing statements, which Bush believes relieve him from enforcing laws he doesn't like .. laws that were passed by Congress.

Investigate what the hell went on in those 400-plus Abramoff meetings/contacts with Administration officials and the White House.

And Katrina. Voters want to know why a post-Katrina, 1/2 billion contract for emergency trailers was awarded to a subsidiary of Fairmont homes with no public notice or competition...when federal law expressly prohibits trailers being located in flood plains. Include a chapter on where those trailers are now.

And the list goes on.....

But hey--the Republicans spent over $100 million investigating Bill Clinton's sex life. So what if Clinton lied about having sex with a consenting adult? Who was harmed and what did his foolishness cost the American taxpayer? The Bush administration lies have cost tens of thousands of lives and billions of our tax dollars and not a dang thing has been done to ride herd on them!

Boy, it must be tough to be a Republican these days .. always waving their little fists and promising they'll find equitable demons on the other side. Bring it on I say, if one of my party turns out to be a crook, hang 'im from the highest tree!

Unlike the Republicans, who kept our taxpayer dollars flowing into the pockets of Rep. Bob Ney (R-OH) a month after he pled guilty to selling his votes. Why wasn't he out of there immediately?

In the end, the GOP was simply pursuing power for it's own sake .. and it finally caught up to them. Bring back the real Conservatives, get rid of this gaggle of extremist loons, the reich-wing talk shows...the all-war-all-the-time neo-cons...the political religionists who are dragging this country down.

The Bush koolaid drinkers have defended this administration all this time and must be pained by what they see as their fantasy unravels...to find out that many of the upstanding members of the Family Values crowd are closeted homosexuals and serial philanderers who strangle their mistresses .. when they are not doing drugs with whores and teenagers. The very same gang who were trying to LEGISLATE our morality.

Hell, even Rush Limbaugh apologized for carrying water for these guys.

This isn't about right or left,  it's about right and wrong.

It is about right and wrong and the above diatribe is wrong

  2. Uh Dexter, look it up bud. Clinton was disbarred for perjury. How about seeing if you are capable of writing a short list of the accomplishments of the democrat Congress?
