4. I "HAD" the 67/68 AMC WITH THE 390 ... 375 HP. MACHINED TO A 427 HP. "SHAVED" HEADS WITH A "MELLINGS" 375 HP 5 1/2 INCH LIFT CAM ! I couldnt keep it on the ground to get traction and added the "new" traction bars from "high jacker"........ that helped but still ......the car itself was too lite. weighing in at 2700 lbs. I switched to a 70 dodge challenger weighing in at 3900 lbs with the same HP using a Chrysler 727 "TORQUEFLITE" TRANNY that would "SHIT N GET" !!!!!!!!! I once had it up to a hundred and fifty mph and telephone poles do look like "PICKED" FENCE AT THAT SPEED !!!!!!!!!!!!

5. I had a 69 Javelin. 290. I hated it after I tore the tranny up and the seats didn't hold up. White vinyl basket weave.
