"Auto Company Executives Must Be Fired", - Obama

President-elect Barack Obama fired a warning shot today at the top executives of the Big Three auto companies, saying that they should either agree to drastic reforms or be sacked.

“If this management team that’s currently in place doesn’t understand the urgency of the situation and is not willing to make the tough choices and adapt to these new circumstances, then they should go,” Obama said at a brief Sunday afternoon news conference.

As much as it pains me to admit it....He is right....how in the hell can you have a business that makes that much product, and has that much income go bad....unless it is ran poorly...and all the people "in charge" need to shit or get off the pot....and that includes theunions that are helping strangle and cripple the auto industry.....riff

  3. I wonder how it is that only people like Riff and Myself, Of course, can see that this is True ? Because all the rest of America has somehow overlooked this and Other Facts that are so blatantly obvious by Now ! 1. You (in charge of Fannie and Freddie) Cant go around making Home Loans to People who Cant Pay Just because thier skin color is Black or Brown ! 2. AIG, Citibank, Big 3 Auto makers DONT have a money Problem ! Thier Customers Who Purchase thier products DONT have Jobs and Money to buy the products They Sell ! 43 thousand for a Cadillac Escalade is (On sale) is not going to go well with todays Unemployed ! Wake Up People !

  5. ED I dont want any Bailouts either ! I would have a new Cadilac Escalade today but I am Not going to pay 43,000. us dollars for it either ! so MY money doesnt get to go to GM neither does MY money get to go to AIG to insure it. That alone adds up to 2 strikes 3 strikes and the economy is a TKO !
